North New Summit School will host its first “Cowboy” Festival”  fundraiser from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Oct 21.

The event is sponsored by the Mississippi Community Education Center.

Tickets are on sale for $15 per person or $30 per family, and include a barbecue dinner, refreshments and five tickets for games. Additional game tickets may be purchased for a dollar each.

The event w ill also feature entertainment throughout the night, and students will raffle off large ticket items and gift baskets. 

North New Summit School is located off of John Pittman Road behind Walmart in Greenwood.

The school invites all family, friends and community members to come out and support the students.

Businesses are also welcome to sponsor the festival.

American Cowboy sponsors who donate $200 will receive eight event tickets, which include eight dinners, four raffle tickets and 20 game tickets, recognition of the company or organization on all marketing materials, a half-page ad in the festival program and a special gift.

Wild Wild West sponsors who donate $100 will receive four event tickets which include four dinners, two raffle tickets and 10 game tickets. Sponsors will also receive recognition on all marketing materials, a special gift and a quarter-page ad in the festival program.
