Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Allan Langford

Sandra Appleton Sturniolo of Greenwood and Richard Paul Sturniolo of Brownsburg, Indiana, announce the marriage of their daughter, Amanda Claire, to Brandon Allan Langford.

Amanda is the granddaughter of Emily Price Appleton of Sardis and the late Judge James Wesley Appleton and the late Rosella Barbera Sturniolo and the late Frank James Sturniolo.

Brandon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wayne Langford of Columbus. He is the grandson of Mary Ann Minor of Columbus and the late Alton Fred Minor and the late Sam Vaniel Langford and Mamie Lou Langford of Columbus.

The double-ring ceremony was held at North Greenwood Baptist Church on Oct. 5, 2019, and officiated by the Rev. Charles Richard Wheat. A reception following the ceremony was held at Greenwood Country Club.

Amanda is a 2008 graduate of Pillow Academy. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Mississippi College in 2012, a Juris Doctorate degree from Mississippi College in 2015 and a Master of Business Administration degree from Mississippi College in 2015. She practices law in Greenwood as an assistant district attorney for the Fourth Circuit Court District of Mississippi.

Brandon, a 2004 graduate of New Hope High School, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Mississippi State University in 2008 and a Juris Doctorate degree from Mississippi College in 2011. He practices law as an assistant district attorney for the Fifth Circuit Court District of Mississippi.

Attending the bride were Caroline Sanders Coupland of London, England; Emily Winstead Barber of Madison; Stephanie Lee Baine of Brandon; Rebecca Guion Burton of Florence; Candace Miers Bowen of Ruston, Louisiana; Brantley Elizabeth Walton of Madison; Haley Morgan Bertrand of Shreveport, Louisiana; and Lady Christina Miniela Patton Spann of Jackson.

The groom’s father served as his best man. His attendants included Brendan Michael Manders of Dyersburg, Tennessee; Cory Daniel Hayes of Mobile, Alabama; Raymond Dylan Mims of Starkville; Sidney Andrew Snapka of Columbus; Joshua Hale Boyer of Starkville; Edwin Robert Noland of Denham Springs, Louisiana; Andrew Kenneth McDowell of Destin, Florida; Samuel Joseph Haase of Starkville; and Cameron Mitchell Echols of Warner Robbins, Georgia.

Zachary Andrew Boyer and Seth Alan Wood, both of Starkville, served as ushers.
