Montgomery, Taylor to marry April 14

Miss Morganne Steele Montgomery and Mr. Bradley Lamar Taylor

Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Schroeder of Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Erby Montgomery Jr. of Grenada announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Morganne Steele Montgomery, to Bradley Lamar Taylor of Cleveland.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lamar Taylor Jr. of Cleveland. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Barbieri of Lyon and the late Jack Lamar Taylor Sr. and the late Nora Lynn Taylor.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lucille Steele of Greenwood and the late Ralph Steele Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Erby “Buddy” Montgomery Sr.

Miss Montgomery is a 2006 graduate of Pillow Academy and a 2011 magna cum laude graduate of Delta State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in political science. While at Delta State, she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority, Order of Omega and Phi Kappa Phi.

She is a member of Ephfic Women’s Club of Cleveland.

She is employed as a teacher at First United Methodist Church in Cleveland.

Mr. Taylor is a 2004 graduate of Bayou Academy and 2008 graduate of Delta State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business management. In 2015, he graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in integrated pest management. He is employed at Local Seed Company in Clarksdale.

The couple will exchange vows at 4:30 p.m. on April 14 at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Cleveland. The Rev. Timothy Austin Starnes will officiate.

A reception will follow at Grover’s Corner.

Friends and relatives of the couple are invited.
