Catherine Anne Halbert and John Neil Sheffield, both of Greenwood, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Josephine G. Roscoe of Roseville, California, and the late Derek James Roscoe.
Miss Halbert is a 1988 of Torrejon High School in Madrid, Spain. She attended American River College in Sacramento, California, where she studied psychology and sociology. She is employed as a WeGoLook remote agent and eBay clothing seller.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Ellouise Fair Sheffield Bell of Inverness and the late Marvin Neil Sheffield.
Mr. Sheffield is a 1994 graduate of Indianola Academy. He attended Mississippi Delta Community College, where he earned a degree in horticulture. He is employed as a chemical transportation specialist at Helena Chemical in Greenwood.
The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. June 16 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Randy Clayton will officiate.
A reception will follow at Immanuel Baptist Church.
Friends and relatives of the couple are invited.
