Mr. and Mrs. Larry Jackson Matthews of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Draper Love Matthews, to Charles Francis Brown III of Nashville, Tennessee.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Francis Brown II of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Nashville. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Brown Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold George Moisand.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Larkin Turpin Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Dowe Matthews Sr.
Miss Matthews is a 2000 graduate of Pillow Academy, where she was a member of the Pillow Singers. She is a 2004 graduate of Delta State University, where she received a Bachelor of Business degree in marketing. While at Delta State, she was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity and served as a Diamond Girl. She is employed as a channel engagement manager at The Buntin Group Advertising Agency in Nashville.
Mr. Brown is a 1997 graduate of Father Ryan High School in Nashville. He is a 2000 graduate of Louisiana State University, where he received a Bachelor of Business degree in graphic design. He is employed as a graphic designer at Brookdale Senior Living in Nashville.
The couple will exchange vows at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 18 at Green Door Gourmet in Nashville. Leila Borders, chaplain, will officiate.
A reception will follow at Green Door Gourmet.
