Miss Jacqueline King and Mr. Christopher Toliver

T.W. King and Rosie King of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jacqueline King, to Christopher Toliver, both of Dallas, Texas.

The prospective bride-groom is the son of Zolia Mae Toliver of Greenwood and Willie Lee Toliver of Itta Bena. He is the grandson of Notoma Davenport and Roosevelt Davenport of Morgan City and the late Annie Bell Jefferson and Manuel Jefferson of Morgan City.

Mr. Toliver is a 1994 graduate of Amanda Elzy High School. He graduated from Mississippi Delta Community College with an associate’s degree in diesel equipment. He also received a diesel mechanic degree at Nashville Auto Diesel College. He is employed as a master diesel fleet mechanic technician III at Reyes Holding of Dallas, Texas.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Josephine and Watt Meeks and the late Mattie and J.C. King.

Miss King is a 1992 graduate of Greenwood High School. She graduated from Mississippi College, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a master’s degree in health services administration. She is employed as the vice president of revenue operations at Platinum Dermatology in Dallas, Texas.

The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. on Nov. 25, 2017, at Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood.

A reception will follow immediately at The Historic Elks Building in downtown Greenwood. Invited guests must RSVP.
