Mr. and Mrs. Tony Box of Tupelo announce the engagement of their daughter, Mallory Jane Box, to Fredrick Mitchell Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Taylor of Sardis, previously of Greenwood.
Miss Box is the granddaughter of the late Chester and Jennie Avery and Jack and Ann Box of Tupelo.
Mr. Taylor is the grandson of Sherry Jones of Cleveland and the late Paul Jones and Johnny Taylor of Greenville and the late Barbara Taylor.
The bride-elect is a 2013 graduate of Tupelo High School. She graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Journalism and New Media in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing communications. The bride-elect works at ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
The prospective groom is a 2013 honors graduate of Pillow Academy in Greenwood, where he was a member of the varsity tennis and varsity soccer teams. He is currently completing clinical rotations at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, preparing to graduate with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May. He is an alumnus of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
The couple will exchange vows at 2:30 p.m. on May 16 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Memphis.
A reception will follow at Dixon Gardens in Memphis.
