Mr. and Mrs. Martin Tribble Sr. of Greenwood announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Melissa Lee Tribble of Meridian, to Dr. William Brock Martin of Meridian.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Justus and Mark Martin, all of Meridian.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Evans and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bartlett, all of Meridian, and the late Calvin Martin and the late Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Phares.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Hiram Ray Tribble of Money and the late Mr. Tribble and the late Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Heflin.
Miss Tribble is a graduate of Pillow Academy. She attended Mississippi State University before graduating from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She is a graduate of Mississippi Delta Community College, where she received an Associate of Nursing degree, and the University of Mississippi School of Nursing, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
She is employed as a registered nurse with Rush Orthopedics Surgery and Sports Medicine in Meridian.
Dr. Martin is a graduate of Lamar School and Birmingham-Southern College, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and psychology. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in Jackson, where he received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. After dental school, he attended the University of Mississippi School of Law in Oxford, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Juris Doctor degree. He was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2010.
He practices dentistry at Meridian Dental Associates in Meridian and at Quitman Family Dental in Quitman.
The couple will exchange vows at 7 p.m. on June 8 at North Greenwood Baptist Church. Dr. Jim Phillips will officiate.
A reception will follow at The Historic Elk’s Building in downtown Greenwood.
