The United Pastors Coalition will present its first Pastors Conference. When/where: June 21-23 at Upper Room Fellowship Ministries, 16418 U.S. 49, Belzoni. Details: The opening session will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. Workshops will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, with breakfast and lunch included, and a banquet will follow at 6:30 p.m. The closing session will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Saturday, June 22

St. Paul Cathedral will hold its 2019 Empowerment Conference. When: 11:30 a.m. Details: The theme for the conference is “I Am A Survivor.” The guest panelist speakers will be Evangelist Josie Childs and Minister Liquita Williams. The keynote speaker will be Pastor Randy Westbrook.

City of Refuge Ministries’ Outreach Ministry will introduce “Your Life Matters.” When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Details: There will be giveaways, free food and a concert.

Traveler’s Rest Missionary Baptist Church will have its annual Women’s Day. When: 11 a.m. Details: Chiquita Brown will speak. The theme will be “Christian Women Walking with Grace.” The colors are black, red and white.

Salem Missionary Baptist Church will have its annual Women’s Day. When: 11 a.m. Details: LaSonya Harris Hall of Philadelphia M.B. Church in Oxford will speak. The colors are white and lime green.

New Foundation Missionary Baptist Church will have an anniversary celebration for the pastor and his wife. When: 11 a.m. Details: The Rev. Paul Body of Texas will speak. The colors will be peach and cream.

Greater New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church will have an appreciation program for musician Lynn Journey. When: 2 p.m. Details: Choirs are asked to prepare an “A” and “B” selection.

Bear Marsh Missionary Baptist Church in Carrollton will have a homecoming and 150th-anniversary celebration. When: 2:30 p.m. Details: The Rev. Benjamin Lewis of Millspring M.B. Church in Weir and his church family will be the special guests. The theme is “Lost, Found, Rejoice, Repenteth, Compassion” (Luke 15:1-32).

Greater Turner Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church will have its annual homecoming and anniversary celebration. When: 3 p.m. Details: The Rev. Donald J. Tucker of New Orleans, a former pastor of the church, will speak.
