Mississippi Action For Progress Inc. and Mississippi State Department of Health’s Office of Preventive Health and Health Equity will hold free mobile testing for COVID-19. When: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Where: Leflore County Civic Center. Details: Testing is free.

Delta Phi Sigma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. will hold a canned food drive. When: 2-5 p.m. Where: Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 509 McLaurin St. Details: Chapter members will be collecting canned goods to donate to the Community Food Pantry.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church will hold a blood drive. When: 2:30-6:30 p.m. Where: The Mississippi Blood Services mobile unit will be in the church parking lot on Dewey Street. Details: Each donor will receive a free Mississippi Blood Services T-shirt. Please bring identification. Donors must be 17 years old or older and weigh at least 110 pounds and should eat and drink plenty of fluids before arriving. Those who would like to donate blood can stop by or call 515-3340 to request a time to donate.
