Ole Miss picked up a huge series win at Arkansas over the weekend. The Rebels were in the 60s in RPI going into Fayetteville.

The Saturday and Sunday wins in the Arkansas series were the biggest to date for Ole Miss. The Razorbacks were No. 6 in the RPI, and with those two wins in pocket, the Ole Miss RPI is at No. 30 today.

Florida visits this week. The Gators (20-10, 4-5 SEC) currently have a 34 RPI and a No. 13 strength of schedule.

Junior college transfer Tyler Myers earned the series-clinching win Sunday at No. 8 Arkansas with a 10-5 victory. He earned his first save with four scoreless innings allowing the Razorbacks (22-6, 6-3 SEC) just two hits with no walks and four strikeouts. He stretched his streak of scoreless innings to 10.

Four of six Ole Miss relievers on the weekend did not give up a run. The Rebels’ bullpen allowed three runs in 121/3 innings in the three games.

Cole Zabowski and Greenwood native Thomas Dillard each had three hits. Zabowski drove in four runs. Dillard, a former student at Pillow Academy,  doubled and drove in two runs. He is hitting .333 with a team-high nine home runs.
