The LSU women’s golf team played an amazing round of golf to jump to a second-place finish at the 2019 LSU Tiger Golf Classic after starting the last round in fourth place. LSU shot a 4-over 292 to make the leap passing up nationally-ranked teams TCU and Old Dominion. It was the fifth-lowest round of the season for the Tigers.

Sophomore Kendall Griffin was the top finisher for LSU in third place, the best finish of her career. She shot a 1-over 73 in the final round to finish at 6-over 222 for the tournament.

Senior Kathleen Gallagher of Greenwood bounced back to shoot 1-over 73 in her final round of competition on LSU’s home course and tied for 18th overall.
