Coach: GHS will rebound strong from 41-0 loss

Three days after Greenwood High failed its latest test to show it could compete with Mississippi’s football elite in the 4A ranks, coach Clinton Gatewood was still upbeat.

On Monday, he was already predicting a rematch in the postseason with Lafayette County, which drubbed the Bulldogs 41-0 Friday.

    I witnessed two others head football coaches having closed practrices. Coach Brady had numerous closed practices. For several weeks, practices ran from 5:30 until after 9:00 pm. Closed football practrices aren't new to bulldog football.
