Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves says there’s plenty of money for the state to give him a private road and for private schools, but not enough to give Mississippi teachers enough of a raise to keep up with the cost of living.
Regarding the editorial “Teacher pay can’t ignore budget” (March 29):
Mississippi Delta Community College teachers have not had a legislative pay raise in over 10 years. No automatic raise, no match for inflation, nothing.
