If R. Kelly was expecting his interview this week on “CBS This Morning” would cast doubts about his guilt on sex-abuse charges, the singer was badly mistaken.

His performance, which degenerated at times into shouting and ranting, sounded as if it was coming from someone who is guilty as charged.

Kelly has a reputation of tyrannizing women and teenage girls, but he was no match for his female interviewer, Gayle King.
