GRENADA — Mrs. Janice Gayle Kendall, 63, of Carrollton passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven. 

She was born Jan. 4, 1956, in Russellville, Arkansas, to John and Violet Mason Turney. She was the owner of Long’s Flowers in Grenada.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service Monday, all at McKibben and Guinn.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Kendall, and one daughter, Stephanie Kendall, both of Carrollton; one son, Derek Kendall of Grenada; five grandchildren, Benjamin Kendall, Mak Kendall, Ryder Kendall, Hartley Costilow and Rhett Costilow; five sisters, Brenda Tran and Susan Flack, both of Russellville, Shelia Ware of London, Arkansas, LaDonna McNew of Atkins, Arkansas, and Judy Roberts of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and two brothers, Ronnie Turney of New Blaine, Arkansas, and Wayne Turney of Russellville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Carol Jurcik; and one brother, Johnny Turney.

Pallbearers were Al Hankins, Charles Turner, Mike Roberts, Dustin Cauthen, Eric Hanks and Bill Rowsey.

Memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Blair Batson Hospital.
