Clifton “Cliff” Goss, 80, of Carroll County died Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Riverview Nursing Home. 

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moore’s Memorial Cemetery in Carroll County. The Rev. Dennis McKay will officiate. 

Mr. Goss was born June 2, 1938, in Carroll County to William “Bud” Goss and Cecil McDaniel Goss. He attended Valley School and was a member of Hillview Baptist Church. He owned and operated Goss Refinishing for 22 years in Greenwood. He was a devout fan of Ole Miss football. He was preceded in death by his four brothers, William Curtis Goss, Olin Goss, Harmon Goss and Benny Goss; a sister, Corine Minyard; and his parents. 

Mr. Goss is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Smith Goss of Greenwood; sons Steve Goss and wife Toni of Florence and Mike Goss and wife Diane of Greenwood; daughter Wanda Carol Goss of Greenwood; sisters Virginia Minyard of Pascagoula, Myrtle Simpson of Avalon and Alice Faye Minyard of Greenwood; brother Travis Goss of Avalon; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be his grandsons and friends.
