Hazel Green Missionary Baptist Church will  honor its pastor, the Rev. J.B. Brown,  for 40 years of service and spiritual guidance. When: Noon. Details: The Rev. Jessie Sawyer will be the guest speaker. Dinner will be served afterward.

Holmes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will have its annual booster program, featuring John and the Gospel Ten. When: 2 p.m.

Samuel Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will have its Mission Day program. When: 2 p.m. Details: Evangelist Nallie Gilbert will speak.

Morgan Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will have an appreciation program for its pastor, the Rev.  Robert Anderson, and his wife, Cassandra. When: 2 p.m. Details: The Rev. Jessie Payne Jr. of Providence M.B. Church will speak.

Bear Marsh Missionary Baptist Church in Carrollton will hold its annual Men’s Day. When: 2 p.m. Details: The Rev. Jerrold Greenwood, pastor of One Church Christian Fellowship of West Point, will speak. The theme is “Be a Man.” The mass rehearsal will be at 6 p.m. Saturday. The colors will be black, red and white.

Lockalonia Missionary Baptist Church in Money will have Men’s and Women’s Day. When: 3 p.m. Details: The Rev. Willie E. Brown, pastor of McKinney Chapel M.B. Church in Greenwood, will speak, and the Greenwood Male Choir will be the special guests.

Nehemiah Missionary Baptist Church will have a sixth-anniversary celebration for its pastor, the Rev. J.H. Gibson, and his wife. Dixon of Greater Union Outreach Ministry in Lexington and Deacon Kevin Jackson of Providence M.B. Church in Greenwood. Deacon Fredrick Hearn of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church in Carrollton will be the guest soloist. The colors will be aqua, turquoise or royal blue, brown and ivory. Dinner will be served immediately afterward.
