Thousands of high school students and their parents will learn about the value of a degree from Mississippi Valley State University later this month.

MVSU will host its Annual Spring High School Day, scheduled March 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the university’s R.W. Harrison Sports Complex.

“High School Day invites students, parents, and high school counselors to the campus to give them a glimpse of what campus life is like,” said Michael Taylor, executive director of enrollment management and MVSU’s Greenville Higher Education Center.

Through that, students and parents will get the opportunity to speak with academic departments about the courses, the academic requirements and the classroom environment.

They will then go on tours to explore various parts of the campus, Taylor said, to get a feel for the campus experience.

If students feel MVSU is the right choice, they can register with the university’s admissions department during the event.

Interested students can pre-register for MVSU’s High School Day by visiting www.mvsu.edu and clicking on the Spring High School Day banner at the top of the page.
