Alexa Josette Golding of Grenada and Cecil James “CJ” Hodges of Greenwood announce their upcoming marriage.
Miss Golding is the daughter of Shalisha Fayard of Elliott and Jason Golding of Grenada. She is the granddaughter of Warren and Lou Golding of Grenada and the late David Leverette and Betty Lou Haile of Scobey.
Mr. Hodges is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Howard Hodges of Greenwood. He is the grandson of Howard and Betty Hodges of Greenwood, and Billy Woodall of Greenwood, and the late Ethel Fay Woodall.
After graduating from Grenada High School in 2010, Miss Golding earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Mississippi State University. She manages Lakeway Sporting Goods and Grenada Lake Charters.
Mr. Hodges graduated from Winona Christian School in 2012 and earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education of recreation and sports from Mississippi Valley State University, while playing college baseball. He is employed at Grenada High School as an educator and assistant baseball coach.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 22 at James Cuff & Co. in downtown Grenada with Clay Eldridge of Kilmichael officiating.
The reception will follow at First & Green Celebrations.
Following the wedding, the couple will make their home in Grenada.
